We purchased a new sofa, a recliner/stuffed chair and two matching end tables. We don’t like high pressure sales so we were able to just walk around for a bit and look at quite a few options. We knew what we wanted and we knew how much we wanted to spend. When we were ready we approached a salesman- showed him what we wanted- basically we were in and out of there in an hour-
I've never been to a furniture store that you can't get the item you want right away. We had to wait two days for a recliner. Then the day of pickup had to wait forever, first come first serve. Otherwise we could have paid the delivery charge. We're charged for a fabric protector without being asked. If they think you need it, then it should be included with the price listed on the item. Was looking for a living room set, ended up going to another furniture store and bought two living room sets along with other pieces for other rooms. Was offered free delivery and whenever I wanted it, didn't have to wait.
Was hoping to have a better experience after the horrible customer service with The Dump. But nope. Sales rep entered wrong info on console we ordered after I repeatedly told her I want the brown one. She kept saying no I know that is just how it shows when ordering it. Of course we don't find this out until today's delivery, also desk is broken. Delivery guy tells us we need to keep the wrong media because if he takes it back today we will have to wait a month. But by leaving it customer service will call right away after getting the notes. WRONG. sales rep was no help when telling her my console piece is not the same dark brown color I ordered which she tells me you ordered the teal one. I said no I kept telling you I wanted the brown one. There was computer gliches that day and I probably should have seen that as a dang sign to leave. Sigh. Customer service is closed on Sunday's so I have to call tomorrow and deal with them. Because now I have no clue what will happen in receiving my correct console color since rep entered color incorrectly and the brown colored one delivered is not the same color Brown we ordered. And find how how long it will take to receive new desk.
We shopped the outlet and bought a couch, rug and table. Our salesman Bill was great working with us. He understood we were replacing stuff lost in Harvey. The worst part was the next day picking up the purchase. Be ready for long lines, and wait times that could exceed an hour just to get a dock door assigned. You'll get no help loading, and your stuff is not staged on the dock as you might expect. We're happy with our purchase, and don't forget to ask for Bill.
I went in and was shopping for furniture. A whole houseful of furniture for that matter. While I was walking around, I found a mattress protector and non-slip grip for my living room rug. Apparently while I was shopping for a bedroom suite, I was stopped and asked to return the items I picked up along the way and return them where I got them because even though I wasnt done shopping and trying to make one big purchase, I wasn't allowed to walk around with them. Then I'm asking one of the ladies about a bed and she turned around and walked off on me to help someone that just walked in the door. I don't feel that as a customer, I should have had to look for someone to help me. Then, even when I did find someone to help me, she just walked off to help someone else. The service here is horrible!! Sadly, I will take my business elsewhere to purchase all the furniture I needed for my new home that I just purchased. The lack of care or work ethic in a place like this that deals with customers daily is ridiculous.
