* It is a overpriced - plan and simple. $150 for basic passes for 3 adults and 2 kids under 5 is too pricey in my opinion. Added to the food being fair/carnival style food at $8 a pop for anything is a bit of a turnoff.
* The pre-purchased ticket area is seriously lacking...it is easier to just go without buying a ticket ahead of time.
We will come once a year even with the pricing a bit on the steep side. The kids love and it is nice to get out to the country every now and then.
A good place to take kids and spend a few hours. It's best to go when they have a carnival going on. That's when all the stalls will be open. They have concessions in there; priced on the higher side. Lots of parking. The staff are friendly. The Bees Show was good. The beekeepers were genuine about wanting to teach things about bees.
It would be nice if you'd let parents go with their kids on some of the rides without having to pay for a token or a bracelet. (Especially when no one else is in line ). Some of the rides my kids were not big enough to operate properly(yellow spiny one) or were a little scared to go in alone (black hole) and I had to pay a token to go in with them.
* Farm theme play land is really neat
CONS
* It is a farm so not a big con, but it gets pretty dusty here.
Went on Black Friday and it was free to get in. We bought wrist bands for the kids and they had such a great time. It wasn't too crowded. Got some nachos at the food place and the chips were stale and the pulled pork I out on them had a ton of fat, but that was about my only complaint.
* Pumpkin patch during Halloween time and cutting your own Christmas Tree makes for great family memories
* Tons of fun and activities for the kids here
We’ve loved coming here the past two years and we’ll definitely be back. This year they have added many new activities. We get our pumpkins and Christmas tree here and they are worth the price.
PROS
This place is way over priced. I have also witnessed what I would assume to be the owner of Dewberry Farm riding around on his golf cart being extremely rude to other customers. Once, when it was "nearing" time to close he was riding around with his flashlight shining it in various customers faces telling them to go. Although, he never did it to us, it was very upsetting. That isn't the only time I have witnessed rude behavior from the very same person on the golf cart towards other customers. There are other farms that you can visit that pretty much have the same stuff, and aren't so over priced. ***At the time of this incident there was no set time for closing. According to your website closing was at dusk. I witnessed this same Man on his golf cart acting rudely towards customers on another occasion, and add that with the rising costs of going there... It's just not worth it.
